WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Stand Up for Science is once again hosting the official No Kings Virtual & Accessible Get Out the Vote Rally, an event to ensure that everyone has a way to show up and participate in the movement to defend our democracy. The rally offers people both across and outside of the U.S. an accessible way to join the day of action, regardless of location, disability, health status, caregiving responsibilities, or other barriers to in-person attendance.The No Kings Virtual & Accessible GOTV Rally is part of the nationwide No Kings day of action and builds on the success of Stand Up for Science’s previous No Kings Accessible Rally in March of this year, which attracted nearly 10,000 registrants.
The event will bring together speakers and participants from the activist, scientific, disability, international, and voting rights communities to speak about health, democracy, and access: access to care, to science, to voting, and to full participation in public life. The event will kick off with a formal speaking program, followed by various breakout sessions, including opportunities to connect with Americans voting abroad.
Scheduled speakers currently include:
- Theo W. Braddy, veteran disability rights advocate and movement leader, Executive Director of the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL);
- Michael Lewis, best-selling author of Moneyball, The Big Short and, most recently of Blockers, the story of the DOGE destroyers and the federal employees and others who resisted; and
