LYNNWOOD, WA, UNITED STATES, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- A new center dedicated to meditation, spiritual growth, and community service has opened its doors in the greater Seattle area. On July 24, internationally renowned Spiritual Master Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj inaugurated the new Science of Spirituality Meditation Center in Lynnwood, Washington, during a four-day visit to the Pacific Northwest.

Located at 16620 Ash Way in Lynnwood, approximately 20 miles north of downtown Seattle, the 8,000-square-foot center will serve as a permanent home for meditation programs, spiritual education, youth activities, and community gatherings. Set on 3.2 acres surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, the center offers a peaceful environment where people of all backgrounds can learn meditation and explore their spiritual lives.

The inauguration ceremony welcomed visitors from across North America and around the world. The celebration included the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, the planting of a cherry tree by Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, and a tour of the newly renovated facility, which features a meditation hall, classrooms, and community gathering spaces.
In his inaugural address, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj expressed his hope that the center would become a place where people of all backgrounds could discover inner peace, cultivate compassion, and experience the transformative power of meditation in their daily lives.

Also present at the occasion was Shri Prakash Gupta, the newly appointed Consul General of India in Seattle. Recently appointed to lead India's first Consulate in Seattle, Shri Gupta congratulated Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj and the local community on the inauguration of the region's first meditation center, recognizing it as an important milestone for the wider Pacific Northwest.

During his four-day visit, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj also delivered public talks in Seattle attended by nearly 1,000 people. His talks explored meditation as a practical method for finding lasting peace amid the demands of modern life, emphasizing that true happiness is discovered by turning within and experiencing the divine presence already residing in every human being.

With the opening of the Lynnwood facility, Science of Spirituality now has twelve meditation centers across North America. Building upon the organization's longstanding presence in Washington through its Birch Bay Meditation Center, the new center expands access to free introductory meditation programs, public talks, youth education, and opportunities for community service throughout the Pacific Northwest.
